I created this one myself. I hope you like it. the picture on the banner inspired me to create this one. I hope you don't find drawing Darien too hard. I'm not an artist or a picasso...hey I can't even draw stick men that well, so I find these way wicked. Cause I can draw my own SM characters without needing to pull my hair out. Or after you've drawn Chibi-usa have your mother say those are lovely Bananas dear, but why are they pink?

Let's Get Started:

First... See the picture on the right? Try to draw that. At this point you don't have to be dead accurate. It's okay if all of the points aren't perfect or anything. It's his hair and hair is unstable, so we can get away with it. Heh heh. The middle point, try to get it right cause that's one of Darien's prominent feature which will make him look more Darien-ish.

 

 

 

Now to do his middle hair. I find it's sometimes helpful to do the middle curve and move from there. But others like staring at one side thatn getting to the other or sometimes start from both ends and work your way to the middle. Do whatever works for you. At this point it's kind of important that you get the curves right. It's okay if it's not identical but it should look familiar. Or else he won't look his most Darien-ish.

 

 

 

 

Now the big tomatoes. the actual face. Here drawn his face and ears. Try to be as accurate as possible for maximum darien look.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This picture just adds his neck and a few details in the ear and hair. Nothing huge.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next few steps will outline how to draw his eyes. I broke them down to smaller steps than the rest of the features, because it's the hardest to draw and that's what's going to make him ultra cool! So Start by drawing the first line of his eyebrows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This picture may seem the smae but it'sa different. Here is added the first line of his eyes. Make sure to to make them lighter than the first lines. The brows should be a bit bolded. The line for the eye a bit lighter and should be attached to the brow as shown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now add the second line for his eye. It's almost as if you're creating an outline for the first line of the eye. Don't draw htem too far apart and then again don't draw them too close together.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, right in the middle of his eye draw these circle shape with a corner missing. They are his pupil and they will come in more important later.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once again outline those shapes with a oval-ish shape. Now we're getting those eyes!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now the difference between the top picture and this one is very little but it's there. Remember those circles wiht pieces missing? Well now draw lines from that all the way to the edge of his eye. I told you it would become important later.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here we add one line at the bottom to complete his eyes. Don't get too excited now we have to draw his face!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here we have done a couple of things. First we have drawn the nose. First draw the long line and then outline part of it with a small line as shown. Next the mouth. A simple line will do but be careful how you draw the line. try to be accurate here. Then to indicate the chin a tiny line under his mouth.Then add some detail to his neck. First two lines on both sides and one line to accent his neck.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This step may seem a bit tough. Here is what he is wearing. My only suggestion would be to try your best to copy it or jsut have him with a neck and no detail. Heh Heh.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then comlete the other side of his outfit. And there you have it. VOILA. It is a beautiful darien, No? He's hot that's for sure!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now for the pieste de resistance. (is that even spelled right?) Add some color to complete a wick-ed looking Darien.
