Please read this page if you are going to go online shopping. I think it will help beginners and warn you of some dangers and inform too...I hope! The highlighted words will take you to a paragraph below the list that tells you more about that topic.^_^
1. Make sure site is secure and don't give out any credit card numbers or anything of the sort unless the site is secure.
2.Beware of sites, that may try to fool you!
3. Shop around some sites have lower prices than others while some overcharge you completely.
4. Consider other aspects, for examples many sites, give free shipping,or no taxes or special sales etc.
5. Remember to notice what currency the prices are in.
6. Read everything carefully when you start ordering.
7. If you are under 18 have an adult with you when ordering. They may be able to see things you don't. Supervision is recommended.
8. I recommend to shop at sites with a credit card and nothing else.

Secure
All the sites I've listed are pretty secure. First of all when you want to go shopping online is make sure it's a secure site. If you see something you like the first thing you see is if the site is secure! How do you do that you ask? Well when your on the page where they ask for you credit card, look at the left-bottom corner of your browser. You'll see a little lock. If the lock is closed that means the site is secured. If it's open the site is not secure. Don't misunderstand while you surf the site it's okay if the lock is open. But when it's the page where they want your credit card number and such that page must be locked!Beware
Watch out for some sites. They might try to fool you. The first thing you do is see the url. If it's say a geocities address, it's probably not a safe place. Most good sites have real url's. But that doesn't mean if they have a url that they are safe, so be careful there too. Another thing you can look at is the site. If they look professional and neat it's a better chance that they are good than sites that look like they were made by a beginner. But this is also not a gurantee the site is good. This is another trick some sites use to fool you. You can check the site for a contact, Address and such but best if they give you a phone number and fax. I don't recommend shopping at sites that don't give you a contact to the company.Currency
I live in Canada so I forget and sometimes to check what currency it's in and later I realize that the prices are in U.S. dollar and therefore will cost me more than I thought. So make sure what currency it's in. Usually it's in U.S. dollar but it's good to keep an eye out, especially for us Canadians with the low dollar ^_^!Read!
Read everything carefully like what items you purchased, the quantity and such because a mis-click of the mouse may get you in trouble later. Most sites usually ask you are you sure type dialouge. Also read everything carefully on each page while ordering and be careful when entering your personal info. So nothing will surprise you later and you will receive your order with no hassels or problems.
Supervision
If you are under 18, make sure an adult is there while the actual ordering and credit card numbers given part. Also most of the time people under 20 don't have credit card so it's also good when you buy stuff with a mom's or dad's credit card that they are present when your entering the credit card numbers and such, so nothing can go wrong!
Credit Cards
When you shop it's recommended that you only shop with a credit card. Don't do any money orders or cheques although they are offered on some sites. They work BUT it's more risky. Why take the risk!
